Imagine a new world

"It seems absurd, yet it is exactly true, that because all reality it is nothing, there is no other real or anything of substance in the world that illusions". (Giacomo Leopardi, Zibaldone)

If you want to speculate on this beautiful statement: what remains of the concerns about the euro and the fate of the world economy? And when it comes to wake up, now that you are awake, it's so obvious what you should do or not do?"

 _______________________________

What is happening right now in the world is a rare opportunity to wake up because never in the known history of our planet we have been so close to create a dream of horror and destruction like this. Not only is there the threat of a worldwide economic collapse that could well be followed by a repression and  mass control to "save us", but the earth itself trembles and cries for the pain of her children animals and humans, for her mountains raped and valleys, rivers and seas poisoned.

On the planet the most of human beings (something like 98%) are abused, hungry, thirsty, or reduced to extreme poverty by the 2% of the population that holds all the wealth, the comforts, the technological means, war tools and energy. You and I are just lucky to be born in that 2%, although in turn a still smaller percentage of people, the so-called élite, decide and govern much of our material life and indirectly through the manipulation of religions and beliefs also the spiritual one. In short, there is a scenario that perhaps never as now seems to show how fragile our lives are, how easily we can lose everything, or at least how death is a real possibility despite our best efforts to grant us safety and protection. Now more than ever what happens in the world reminds us that we can self-destroy us at any moment as a human race and how that control is exercised on the masses, because of fear, cause suffering and iniquity.

What we see in the mirror of Life, if we are not afraid to open our eyes and look at it, it is the fact that as creatures we are impermanent, that we may die at any moment, and no matter how much control we seem to be able to exercise to exorcise this fear of death (through attachments to things or people or situations), the security we seek in the world is not there. And remember, those who exercise the biggest control, the so-called élite, are the most frightened of all, much more frightened than you or me! They need absolute control in order to feel at peace, because in reality they are not at all!If you can take a step back and see all that this is an opportunity to really live life not from fear, but from the joy of living, then this mirror does not need to manifest as it is doing now. Its task would be, so to speak, exhausted.

If you go on the streets in indignation against what is happening and you fight you are still trying to clean the mirror from stains that you yourself are reflecting there. If there is still fear in you because there is still a sense of separation, if you try to hold off the fear with control strategies, that will be the fear and control that will be reflected in the world. If, however, you can use the mirror to get in touch with fear and control then the mirror will be used to its best and the reflected image will change. If, however, there is stubbornness to think that the image is real and you fight it as such or you close your eyes not to see the horror, then the mirror will reflect that conflict and also the system of covering up that we act on ourselves. The horror of it will be hidden, because we hide something from ourselves.

Everything you see in the world is always and only yourself, what you love what you hate it is you. If you see this and there is no conflict about it, or if you wake up to who you are then there is no concern. I'm not worried about what happens in the world, but I do not even close my eyes not to look at it, or go out on the streets to protest, but I am OPEN to this information even if it can be unpleasant. I see what it is its position in the global scene, as the action needed to create a mass awakening that otherwise might not happen.

You see, the mechanical response of the mind to certain informations is "Well, but I what can I do? Better not even to care about it, do not tell me anything, it makes me just worried or sad. " This reasoning is based on the idea that you are a someone separate from what is happening and a someone that can or can not do something and because is feeling to be helpless choose to ignore it alltogheter. As long as this behavior is mantained the mirror of the world will become more and more controlling and scary because that feeling of helplessness and fear could be felt at the end. What creates the world is not the person you think you are, but the Dreamer of the Dream of life. As such you want to wake up to this fact and you will use all means necessary to do, including horror, war, famine etc.If the situation is extreme and hopeless, then the control mechanisms of fear break up and what the mind calls fear, which is actually our own joy and radiance repressed, can be felt fully. When you go in this way beyond the fear then you can live from joy.

In reality for the human consciousness this is an incredible opportunity: to let go of control of fear and then radically change our way of way of living. A change that begin not as an act of will, but as a consequence of the fact that living in fear is too painful. A new way of living that springs from the realization that the trading of our happiness of today for not being afraid tomorrow is something that creates only suffering. You can only be in joy NOW.If you're awaken to what you are, you are not even afraid of what is happening, but you take it for what it is: a reflection of the ignorance and suffering still present in the human consciousness. If you're awake, you know that the only true revolution is that inner one. You will not be scared, however, to be exposed to informations that reflect that ignorance and fear. In fact you will be happy to talk about it, if the occasion presents itself, because you know that this information can cause a vital shock in those who still have their eyes closed to the world and so this will be an opportunity of awakening.

Think about it: when do we feel most alive? It happens in situations of extreme joy or, paradoxically, in situations that seem to be hopeless and therefore shut off our control mechanisms and security. It could be a serious or fatal or a grief or a divorce, or the loss of a job. Sometimes these vital shocks are the Life call that normally, as we stay numb in our torpor of false certainties, are not able to hear. This moment in human history, more than ever, is the opportunity to be called to let go of our false beliefs, to cross fear without repressing it anymore and live out that birthright that is joy. As children we are never fear: we called it excitement!

If you feel this call, and the fact that you ask questions means that you do feel it, this moment in history is a fascinating moment in which finally our spiritual and material life can meet and cancel each other out. In other words, there is nothing you have to do, because as imaginary separate individual you already do nothing. There is no "me" in the body that produces thoughts, actions or feelings, they are all just witnessed by I, the One Consciousness that gives rise to everything and that lives through and as all forms. If we imagine to be a separate me from the world, then we want to have control over it because we are afraid, if we see that the separation is an illusion, then the dream world that is NEVER separate from us will reflect this understanding of Love.

John Lennon said:

 "Imagine there is no heaven,
it's easy if you try,
No hell below us
Above us only sky,
Imagine all the people living from today ...
Imagine there's no countries
 it isnt hard to do
Nothing to kill and die for
and no religion tooImagine all the peoplelive life in peace ..
You may say I'm a dreamer
but I am not the only one
I hope someday you will join us
and the world will live as ONE ... "

Beyond the stories of the mind

I'm trying to listen.
Although I perceives the need of an empty mind, I can not really feel it, and I perceive a resistance.
----------------------

Hello,
you see, it is the mind that considers the mind as if it was a problem and it would like to have it empty because what is really tried to be achieved it is the void that witnesses it. In fact, the mind is not a problem at all, neither it is necessary to create an empty mind for this realization to take place. If the mind is a jungle of thoughts or it is well-disciplined and quiet, it remains anyway just an object of which you are aware.

It does not matter how the mind is coming up, otherwise it would be like saying that in order for you to witness it, it should manifest a certain way. And this is not the case. You are always the witness of the mind, not the main character of its stories, even when this is not yet consciously recognized. You know that thoughts exist because you are aware of them. When you are consciously aware of thoughts, or when you witness the mind consciously, then it is not really important to you which kind of thoughts or feelings are passing by, they are anyway just stuff that comes and goes, passing clouds in the sky.

The reason why we are so attached to the fact that certain thoughts should not be present it is because these particular thoughts have at their center as an imaginary subject our "me" or what we think we are. We do not want those thoughts, because they disturb us, they bring up with them an uncomfortable feeling and we believe them - no matter how horrible the scenario that is proposed -because we feel to be inside our thoughts and we think that really what they say could happen TO us.

This is a tragic error of perspective. The thoughts do not happen TO us, but IN ourselves. In other words they are subtle objects passing by and we are not the protagonists of them but only the witnesses!

For example, let's say the mind projects a negative scenario regarding a particular event. We will feel the anguish of that possibility and more the anguish will grow and more -if you really believe that those scenario will happen - you will believe you will feel even worse in that moment. The strategy will be then to try at all costs to not make happen that event in the idea to be able in this way to silence the feeling of anguish. Basically, what is happening is that we want to dispel that feeling that accompanies the story through an action that seems to be able to avoid that it can become true and happen.

Now, that story since the beginning is based on a lie: it is JUST a story of mind, as we really are it is not the subject of the story, but just the witness of it. That character seems to be the protagonist of the story, and who is? Its existence is based on a memory of events that have happened, a bunch of actions and thoughts that had passed through your form, but it is nothing but a memory! Your body and your mind are constantly changing and therefore who is the one that the mental story is talking about?

The story in itself it is just a story, and alhtough it does not seem at all like this when the story appears, what it does REALLY happens it is never what the mind had projected. The feeling that accompanies the story it is what we really suffer, and it is the feeling that fuel the strategies and tricks that are put into place to prevent the manifestation of the mind scenario. The strategies in themselves bring more suffering and so on.

It comes a time in our life in which it is no more possible implement strategies in order for not feeling that feeling and it is the time in which we are forced to confront our stories and the feeling in itself. Part of the story of the mind will be if the story will come to rest also the feeling will fade away. Actually it is not like that: the story is present only to the extent that one is not able to be present to the feeling that accompanies it.

Although it is not maybe immediately obvious, the story comes FROM feeling and not the other way round: if the interest in the story falls away because you can see that no matter how many strategies are put into place, the feeling is anyway coming back, then you just have to sit down with the feeling, feel it and be in a position of conscious witnessing about it. Then and only then for the first time we're really in the position to dispel that feeling, in the just staying present to it.

The story of the mind was desired to be dispelled only in the believe that in this was one could have eradicated the feeling. When you grasp that not only you are not the real main character of that story but it is not the story the origin of the feeling but its consequence, then the interest in the story will fall away automatically. One will remain just in the conscious witnessing of the feeling. The feeling will grows in intensity 'till come to a climax and it will disappear into conscious recognition.

We moved in this way from an only conceptual level - the world of the mind stories - to perceptual level. And it is ONLY at this level that suffering can be dissolved. So let the mind be present and not try to empty it. Let the stories that the mind present to pass by and if possible rather be aware of the feelings that accompany them. If it were possible to feel them without repressing them or expressing them they would reach their peak and would disappear along with the stories.

What it would remain would be what it was there since the beginning, the empty sky in which the clouds were happening.

A big hug,
Shakti

Inner revolution

We dont own Life and yet we feel free to take it, abuse it, rape it, pollute it in any possible way. We are so deeply conditioned to believe that only way to stop a violent action is another violent action that we dont even consider any other alternative. Love - what knows no separation- is the only alternative, the only answer.

Some could say that this message can never be listened by enough people to make a change over this planet.

I believe in the power of individuality and I think a single person can change the world and it is not a drop in the ocean, as in one single apparent person there is ALL the ocean. So if you wake up to this, it DOES makes the difference... it does as all the ocean is shaken.

If this is forgetten you will fall in the illusion that has been casted on you, the illusion that you are powerless, something that you are not.

You are all powerful as what you really are, because as what you really are you are the Source of everything. Every single human being is God incarnated, it the tool through which the Source makes experience of human life.

Instead we have been thrown to believe to be confined in the limits of a body, in a size of a form and we are led to believe that we need to use violence and rise up our voice to be listened,
where instead all our thoughts and feelings - our mind - is the Mind of God itSelf.

You are not a tiny insignificant little spot on this planet. You are precious, you are God and your form an expression of God. And when God suffers, all the world suffers. Check if NOW through your form there is a somebody, a ME. Or you find just an empty awareress living though the form, that is experiencing the world through the senses... this realization, that nobody is there but Awareness, IS Enlightenment.

It is enough that you awaken to this to shake the entire universe. Each Buddha has a tremendous effect on all this dream of the world, much more than thousands of people with sheep mentality.

Each Buddha knows itself as the Source and it is the same One living through all the forms.

Therefore YOU count, you for what you really are, not your form that is just a tool of experience. And the stopping of your suffering then it has a tremendous effect on the rest of the world; it has the effect to dissolve that suffering and ignorance in the rest of the dreamn to that same degree.

I believe in the power of the individual in the sense that the only revolution worth to be pursued it is an inner revolution, not a revolution to be made on the streets with bombs or furher violence but a revolution that happens silently but yet powerfully. A revolution that destroyes the sense of separation that is the seed of all evils in this world.

Meditate this in your heart and know that you are important and that you awakening counts and enlightens all the world.
