You are the answer

You cannot go closer to truth. You are Truth.
Infact each movement of the mind to perfect the image of truth, that itself is holding on to in the identification with the objects, is actually a movement away from what you really are.
This movement is witnessed by Awareness itself and when this witnessing becomes conscious there is no more interest in the pursuing of a mental conclusion, although an higher understanding starts, where what is understood is intellectualy clear and at the same time is felt right.

The image of perfection of the mind relates always to a path to be done in time, and therefore keeps the attention away from the moment. What the seeker is seeking is not in time, but actually where the seeker is, here and now. The answer to the quest fo Truth is the seeker itself, that reveals to be in an accurate enquiry this empty Awareness that was observing all the time the seeking process.

Becoming aware of the seeking action that is often so unconscious in the rest of humanity is enough to point out that what is looking at the seeking is not an object of time, but a formless timeless Awareness that is always present. What is looking at the seeking reveals itself to be what one was seeking all the time, the permanence, the truth of everything.

What is Enlightenment

Enlightement is the simple and direct realization of not being your body-mind but the empty Awareness whose action is living through and as all form.

This recognition happens for no specific reason, so no preparation or purification is necessary beforehand on the behalf of the apparent individual. No action in time and space can in fact bring one to the seeing of being the Eternal itself.

This realization happens by grace. Grace is always already present under any of the circumstances of life. So each moment is always the perfect opportunity to see that everything that appears is just a mirror of what is happening in Consciousness. If there is the ability to bring the reflection back to where the scene is observed, then those circumstances will serve their real purpose, to show that their witness is also their creator and that there is not in fact any separation between the dream and the Dreamer. In fact neither of these two actually exist, there is only dreaming.
